Blokhedz isn’t your garden variety Hip Hop comic book. Co-Creators and twin brothers Mark and Mike Davis illustrate in a unique style and the supernatural street epic is penned by Brandon Schultz. The Hedz have been featured in music videos, heard over the airwaves, seen on CNN, NBC and FOX6 San Diego, and featured in the pages of The Boston Globe, LA Times, Black Enterprise, The Source, XXL, Scratch, Lowrider and numerous other print and online outlets. • Praise for Blokhedz

“My lyrics sound like how he looks. The pyramids, the projects, the doves from God’s Son… as soon as I saw it I said that’s me right there.”

  • -Nas

  • God’s Son, Nasty Nas, Nas Escobar, Nastrodamus
  • “Heartiest congratulations on BLOKHEDZ, the artwork is fantastic and the story couldn’t be any more real”

  • -Stan Lee

  • Creator of Spiderman, X-Men
  • After reading our ‘Slanguage Glossary’ the venerated one remarked… ” In fact I was feeling it in my crib and told all the ‘hedz it was dope! Excelsior!”

“If you’re tired of mutants (and frankly who isn’t), nihilistic “super heroes” and government sanctioned serial killers…Blokhedz is the must read debut comic of the year! It’s one part BLADE RUNNER, one part Hip-Hop, and one hundred percent attitude!”

  • -Scott Lobdell

  • Uncanny X-Men, Alpha Flight
  • “As an extremely visual person, I often tend to be over critical when it
comes to comic art. Blokhedz is just cool. Plain and Simple. The book’s art
style wonderfully lends itself to the hip, urban story it is set against.”

  • -Adam Pollina

  • Big Daddy Danger, X-force
  • “Totally unique. Blokhedz is very cool. This is what Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim should be.”

  • -Christopher Golden

  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer, X-Men
